Public Toilets and Conveniences in Lochaber
Public toilets, conveniences, loos and rest rooms in the Fort William are provided in the following places. We will add more as and when we are aware of them, and would also like to say that if you find yourself in a "tight" situation, you can always ask a local business if you can use their facilities. Visitor Centres in the Lochaber area also provide toilet facilities to their customers, and most hotels in the area try to be helpful and welcoming to visitors "in need".
FORT WILIAM
There are two public toilets in Fort Wiliam. One is located off the High Street at Middle Street/Staion Brae, very near to the West End Car Park in the town centre. The other is located in Bank Street Car Park very near St Andrews Church. The west end toilets may be more convenient for you if you are travelling by coach and need to consider parking. The West End Car Park is very suitable for coach parking.
There are also public toilets on the Caledonian Canal side at the Top Lock of Neptunes Staircase at Banavie. This is generally available to boats navigating the canal, but we are sure the general public, and in particular, visitors to Lochaber, are also welcome to use this facilitie.
